The Bass/103 7″ is a thing of beauty. I bought it on a whim when it came out and Soulside has been a staple ever since.
Question: Why has everything Bobby Sullivan has done since been so disappointing?
“Anxious Hunger” was a decent single from Seven League Boots. Of course that was during the unfortunate Ska-Renaissance in Boston…different times.
Used to be Bobby sightings all over Boston — he’d play these dark, little, weird spaces. But I haven’t heard anything from him or about him in over fifteen years now.
VH1 Where Are They Now? Bobby Sullivan
Seven league Boots are on facebook and did reunion shows in August 2012. Their CD was remastered (by me) and put back out by their old label and is available from Itunes, amazon, etc…

Hey Stevil, thought I’d contribute a video – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqteDk15Ud8
Richard Pryor, screaming girls, metal, druids, what’s not to like?
Hey, Rain Like the Sounds Trains was pretty good. Seven League Boots? Not so much.

SOULSIDE!
total time warp
I wonder if I was at that show?
I’m old enough to have Soulside’s albums on vinyl, and to have seen them live.
