I brush my teeth with a fork and spoon.
I like Friday’s the best because this means I can go to bed drunk, just like everybody else is doing, as opposed to going to bed drunk like most unemployed people do Sunday thru Thursday.
And speaking of which, I did just that the other day with the arrival of two Australians;
We had ourselves a high time which I probably won’t recover from any time soon.
We ate, drank, got pretty merry, hung out with this guy;
and then rode home in the dark;
All in all it was a fine way to waste part of a day and most of an early morning.
One thing that I’m afraid to say we didn’t engage in was any of this;
Ben from Handsome Cycles sent me that and we both emphatically agree that despite the fact that the video claims the star’s name is Nathan Barnatt, it’s actually the always cheery and even occasionally elated Nick Sande;
When this photo was taken, he was both.
Dan Powell from Minneapolis West Design Works also emailed me and asked if I could post this thing that’s just below this sentence. I said yes;
It’s hard to believe that the season of bicycle trade shows is upon us yet again. Why, it was just a year ago that Interbike finally submitted to a move to Anaheim, before scrapping those plans and returning to Las Vegas again. I wonder where the big show is going to be and then not next year?
Colorado?
Illinois?
Texas?
The mind absolutely reels.
Here is a nice little photo of Arvesen’s crash that occurred the other day that I like to call “Why you don’t run into a bike race, or have children.”
This shot inspired me to dig through my collection and pull out a few random images of people either just about almost hitting the deck, or actually in the process of doing so.

It makes passing out in a cardboard box seem downright preferable in comparison.
It’s with that, that I bid you a fond farewell for now, and wishes for an outstanding weekend. Except for me, we’ve all earned it.
I likes me some good hurtin’ and those pics was pure pleasure. Thanks.
Sunday thru Thursday! yep.
Good hurtin’ pics! been there, still doin’ that!
Don’t let Michael Smith see those pictures! He won’t be able to discuss anything else for months and might end up losing his new job.
Here’s footage with a guy crashing in that section the two ladies are dancing within:

BMX’er near the bottom should be mounted on the front of a pirate ship. In that pose.
