Did everyone have a happy holiday time?

This the reason for the season after all;

Well, on this end it sure was nice. While I never have really gotten too involved in the commercialized aspect of the month, it was certainly nice to lounge around a bit and explore some back roads with my better smelling compatriot;

She even entertained my desire to snap a product style shot of her in her newish Cedar Cycling women’s jersey which it would appear is currently on sale;

I too was wrapped up in some Cedar woolen goodness for our jaunt over hill and dale, though I took no photos of myself in it, save for this one I took back around a year ago;

Which might as well have been taken on our ride together because I was wearing the same clothes.

I can’t recall if I ever got around to penning a follow up of the garment, but as a tried and true believer in all things wool, Cedar has socked a dinger with this piece and for both the lady friend and myself, it’s become the go-to when engaging in bikecycle related activities.

Scanning through the post from which that particular image was taken, it dawned on me that I was at the same time jibber jabbering about how disk brakes on cross bikes were in my opinion not a very good idea, which folks have recently all come to find some validity in.

But we here in the bike world refuse to stop progress, SRAM’s issues will eventually be solved, and everyone will soon forget all about the 19,000 disk brake recalls, but it won’t change the fact that SRAM copy writers still don’t know how to properly use apostrophes;

Not necessarily relating to that, it was just a few days before the 25th when Cranpa from FBM made with the contact and sent on a little ditty which looked like this;

You like? The economics of stupidity!

Share this video if you would please….

Thanks man- cran

Those FBM kids have more fun than should be legally allowed, and I have to note that in every one of their edits, something happens which causes my bottom half to pucker so succinctly that I almost lose my office chair straight into my nether regions.

This precise moment was exactly that something;

And while I have FBM on my mind, I recently received just about the nicest holiday greeting a bike blog douchebag (same diff) could ever hope for;

So to that cramp-handed anonymito, I would like to offer my most sincere thanks, and tell them that short of not getting that black iPhone my goddamned parents promised me, it was a genuine highlight of my recent days.

    The “I Love Lucifer” image is your (or should be) your next shirt or sticker.

    One other item of note…I made a post regarding my abhorrence of poor grammar a couple of months ago on the FB machine. A close friend chastised me saying that not everyone grew up in a life of privilege and that I should not be so quick to judge. Ergo, since you are also bothered by poor grammar does this mean you have lived a privileged life as well?

      One in which my grapes were peeled for me and my English teacher mom took great pleasure in correcting me on the regular, so yes.

    I bet my bro’ in law would trade the malignant melanoma Santa brought him for someone’s IPhone, even a Black one.

    You can’t expect a company that refuses to do R&D to actually have copy editors. They’ll just send you a new PSA and a chain for your troubles.

    First ten years of my life I grew up in a single-car garage converted into a studio apartment, but I think this reads better:
