You’re not the kind to kiss and tell.

Here we are on the hump of the week, and I have a single lump of news that you can possibly use.

Folks who’ve been around these parts for some time might possibly recall a time a bunch of years ago when we launched the replica wool Bandit jersey, deftly modeled here by Joe from Soulrun;

That was a project I’d long dreamt of doing, because as a child of the 70s, in terms of personal importance, ‘Smokey And The Bandit’ was right up there with eating and breathing.

But a few years after The Bandit came roaring off the big screen and blew my little mind, every Wednesday night there was a television show which surpassed the gravity of that movie called ‘The Fall Guy’ starring Lee Majors, who at the time I was so enamored with, I had absolutely convinced myself we were somehow related to one another.

I was a weird little kid.

Anyway- It was because of this life long appreciation that I finally got my ducks in a row and with the help of Snakehawk, redesigned the Fall Guy logo to suit my own personal aesthetic;

Ironically, it was right around the same time that I received this slice of absolute heaven was when Christian forwarded me this here Craigslist posting;

In the time since I’ve contacted 52,000 of my closest friends to ask if they could each see their way to giving me fifty cents.

As of yet, I haven’t heard back from anyone.

But I digress… The point of this stand alone post is to let folks know, just as we did with the Bandit jersey, I will have a month long order window open for a new piece of merch emblazoned with that particular graphic.

Now, before I post the link for the item in question, I should suggest that if you have a mouth full of any kind of beverage, you should swallow it, or risk spitting it out in disbelief. As one might assume, these jackets don’t come cheap, but I’ve kept the price tag on them as low as as I possibly can, and now after having both jumped my truck, and being thrown out of a window in mine, I can say without reservation that from my perspective, they are worth every penny.

So with all of that being said, all hail the All Hail Stuntman Association jacket;

If by chance, you have a couple of bills to throw this way in order to procure one of these bad numbers for yourself, right up there is the link, here are the details on the actual jacket, and here’s a size chart;

Once the order is submitted to the manufacturer, there will be right around a two week turn around. Remember the TEN MONTH turn around we had on the Bandit jersey? Man, that sucked.

At one point I remember frustratingly telling the sales person that I could have made a human being in less time than that. They weren’t amused.

If by chance, you happen to be in the Bay Area and would first like to take a look at mine, or to see how mine fits (I wear a large), I’d be happy and try to accommodate yinz in your investigation. For others who’ve had the misfortune to lay your eyes on me in the past, and are familiar with my stature, then perhaps you can base your own size on that reference.

Any other questions regarding the piece I’m happy to try and field, and can be sent to me directly at stevil(at)allhailtheblackmarket(dot)com.

Lastly, if by chance this item is a bit too steep for your blood, I would also like to note that you can still represent the squad with one of my new patches;

Though neither the jacket, nor the patch will offer much in the way of protection if you jump from a tall building, or roll a brand new car, it will still allow you the benefit of being the unknown stuntman, that makes Redford such a star.

Spread this like it's sick

    I’ve enjoyed your literary and artistic efforts since HTATBL and maybe before when your Santa Cruz builder card (still have it) showed up with a frame I purchased. I’ve always liked the irreverence and it is in fact your graphic efforts that I have found inspiring in getting me back in touch with my own graphic efforts. Yeah, I actually was a graphics major in college before I went into biology (long story). Keep up the chaos. Thanx!

    Douchebags have started GoFundMe pages for things a lot less noble than a replica Fall Guy truck. Get random strangers to fund this and spread the joy of Colt Seavers using his stunt man skills to bring bail jumpers to justice!

    Strong work.

    Bought a patch as soon as I saw them on TSBC’s feed. Now I just need to crash and put a hole in my bag so I’ll know where to sew it on. (I have a “patches are for fixing holes” rule that applies to these sorts of situations) The way bike commuting is going in Vermont this winter, I’ll have a hole to fix in no time.
