A very Melviny Christmas.

The Melvin’s might not be your cup of tea, but there is no denying the brilliance of Coady Willis and Dale Crover’s synchronized chaos.
Here’s to egg nog hangovers and not burning down your Christmas tree.

Spread this like it's sick

Thank you for the best gift I’ll get all day, Rock music and a trip into the way back machine…Summer of 1999 I was running the lights at the Double Door in Chicago and had the honor of being in that position when The Melvins came thru, Moments before they started I set up 4 budweisers in front of me and fired up the smoke machine, then..The Rock commenced and the place went up for grabs, the hair on the back of my neck was standing on end and I ran out of beer by the end of the third song, The Melvins were nothing short of Incredible…
Stevil-Without you, I would never shoot cereal out of my nose and my days would be a fraction less fun, Thanks for being you…Merry Christmas

Get up, get out, and go burn up the pavement, or the snow, or the dirt. Get up. Go riding.

Oh fuck, I just saw them in Boston with both drummers for the first time. The mirror image effect is amazing to watch, never mind how it sounds. I didn’t realize just how much they’re actually looking at each other.
    Bonecrushing.

If the Melvins isn’t your cup of tea then I’m afraid there’s just no way we can be friends.
It’s sad, but it’s the rules.

Fuck CHRISTmas! The Christians stole the Winter Solstice from the Pagans, Christ was actually born in October. (Sorry for the History lesson).
Yep, let me rephrase Stevil’s words…”if the Melvins aren’t your cup of tea, you should not be reading this blog…”
I saw them earlier this year at Webster Hall NYC for the first stop of their 25th anniversary tour where they played the entire set of Houdini & Bullhead.
    Be envious, be very enviousness.
How could you ever morse it down
Extra often is not my sound
She’d better hope an you better mind

@snombie: Thanks for rubbing it in… Bastard.
Stevil: thanks for posting this. To paraphrase “Comic Book Guy”: Best… Band… Ever… Dunno what shows I will go see when they retire or die.
I did not see you in Bend, but I may have been trying to stay upright myself. Interpret that for yourself. I’ll have to order something soon, my t-shirts and cycling caps are dull and dead to me now…

The Melvins are not my cup of tea, more like a case of my favorite beer. I wish Buzzo was my mom and dad. All the more reason to drink!

There’s a word for people who don’t like the Melvins: terrorists. If you don’t like the Melvins, you hate our freedom.
