Good lord what have I done?

The dust hasn’t even begun to settle on what has been an unparalleled freakout with the receiving and shipping of the kits, and now I’ve gotten the opportunity to do it for just a little while longer.

That’s right. In a phone conversation Wednesday morning with the head honcho at Voler, he stated that if I can get another order in by JULY 6TH, they can ship them the last week of August.
Since a handful of folks missed the boat, and sob storied me every chance they got, against my better judgement I agreed to open the gates for one last go around. Remember- unlike last time, this is not a test. On July 6th, it’s going to be a done deal, and though I may attempt this again some time in the future, I have other projects in mind and I don’t think my heart could handle the pressure anyway.
As I stated before, if anyone is curious about their own sizing, I’ve found that Voler has an extensive sizing cart for you to look at here under the custom apparel header to the right of the page.
For example, click on ‘short sleeves’ and then follow that to the sizing chart.

Step two;

It’s as easy as that. So please, get cracking if you want to and spend the next several years being 300% more attractive and 98% faster when riding your bike.
I will be leaving the above information up though tomorrow, and will continue to cram it down anyone’s throat who will listen for the next 13 days.
Don’t sleep through this. I swear on all that is good and right, that this will be it for a good, long while.
Also please note that I’m still attempting to figure out the shipping part of my site, and that it does indeed cost more than five dollars to ship the kits nationally, let alone internationally. I totally took a bath on this last round. If you would be so kind as to throw a few more duckets my way for shipping via Pay Pal, that would be rad.
I hope you all have great weekends. If you need me I will be buried under a pile of receipts and empty beer cans while I attempt to prepare my quarterly taxes, and as far as that’s concerned, I have a message for THE MAN;
I don’t mind paying taxes, if they were to go exclusively towards education, health care, social services, public infrastructure and so fourth, but what I cannot stomach is that I am basically bullied into paying for so much that I do not believe in. The current war for example… I realize it’s low hanging fruit, and the conflicts that America’s armed forces are constantly embroiled in are far too complicated for a layman like myself to understand, but the fact that I don’t even have a direct voice involved in where or how my dollars are spent is what prompts me to tell you, THE MAN, this;
When the revolution comes, and at the core of my being I hope that it does, I will stand before you and look you in the eye and tell you that you had the golden opportunity to be a savior of the people and you blew it. With any luck, I will have the chance to toss the first match on your corrupt, flawed and rotting empire.
You sir(s), can suck it.
In closing, and because I haven’t done so in a while, please take a second to celebrate a long overdue Friday Hero (on Thursday) that was presented to me by Newt;

We should all hope to have such strength.

    Have any more info on that guy? I want to know what his injury is. How does he avoid pressure sores? Seriously insane.

    When my bibshorts arrived today, I ripped open the package, slipped them on, and right on cue my wife said “hey, those look good on you”. Thanks for making me look good.

    Not trying to be a douche but since I ordered a jersey back in March I have lost 30# and am in the process of losing more. Not sure what the correlation is between ordering a jersey and losing weight but whatever works is good by me. Just got the xl jersey and it looks great but unfortunately is very big. Any chance of trading for a large or a medium with you or one of your readers? I was going to order the other size on the new order you are currently putting together so I would have one large and one medium depending on what time of the month it is.

    You’re not being a douche at all, and congratulations on losing the lbs. There have been a few folks who wanted smaller sizes and as the weeks progress, I suspect I will try and connect some of them together. I don’t know how yet, but I’m working on it.

    In addition to being bent out of shape about war… try being bent out of shape about the fact that taxpayers bailed out a bunch of Wall Street crooks and swindlers.
    The Prez said recently: “Main Street is never again held responsible for Wall Street’s mistakes.” OK, so, lets literally admit that Average Joe bailed out Average Douche, and that we aren’t going to hold anyone accountable. However, we ARE going to TRY to ensure that it NEVER happens again. (Mr. Douche, please don’t do that again, pretty please?)
    The Wall St. bailout began under Bush and continues under Obama. The president’s (any president’s) mission is to maintain the status quo, at any price.

    Reflecting on the relatively lousy cards I’ve been dealt is outright silly after I watched OG play the hell out of his hand. WORD.
