Segues, segways, and cegweiz.

Today we will have an even more rapid fire experience than we’re normally accustomed to for the simple reason that I left my Ritalin in my other pants, and some speed fell into the morning’s scone dough.

While we’re on the topic of pants, Matt from Ghostship forwarded me the following movie trailer, which in response to I say, ‘yes’;

Touch my soul and I’ll punch you square in the hand.
Mentioning hands makes me think of Mike, which makes me think of Texas, which makes me think of this email that Mike from Texas sent;
“Hello,
In an effort to see more people participate and enjoy ‘cross events here in Texas, I share with you TX ‘Cross. I can not wait for the season and some cooler temps.
TX Cross(dot)com
thanks
mike”

I hate ‘cross, I love cross.
But mostly I hate it.
In an effort to help try and rehabilitate my right shoulder, I embarked on a small, and mellow mountain bicycle related athletic pursuit the other day, when I came across John Caletti;

He said he was taking a little break from the shop and though he was headed in the opposite direction, turned around and rode with me for a spell. Shortly after we began riding together, I came around a corner, and clipped my right hand on a protruding thigh-sized branch stump (did you get all that? Try to keep up). This resulted in me ripping most of the skin off my right middle finger, bending my brake lever to nearly 90 degrees to my bar, launching my carcass ten feet down the trail and my bike another five from there. As I mentioned elsewhere, in my wake was left what resembled a dusty yard sale. I haven’t had such a powerful battle with gravity in years, and though I had blood spouting out of several spots simultaneously, I didn’t seem to be injured at all.
I high fived the air and we continued on our way.
If only every crash could be so easy.
Speaking of Carcasses, Tyler sent an email with some photos of a few;
“Stevil,
About a month ago you posted a strange website where people were taking pictures of “dead” people in strange places…the photos were very well done, beautiful even, and then there was a dead guy in them. Well, we wanted to combine the spirit of that post, with something we all love…The Wizard Staff. I would be honored if you posted a few of these on your site…

Thank you for your efforts Tyler. The funny thing is I ended up looking like that on Wizard Staff Day anyway, but it wasn’t necessarily for art’s sake.
Do you like apples?
How about these apples?

Speaking of apples, Kevin got in touch with a video teaser for Lincoln’s upcoming Gravel Worlds race;

If you’d like to see a kitten with a very expressive tail, you should wait until the end of the clip.
And speaking of the end, this is it.

    Sorry.. I was still playing up the Ritalin/speed factor. This stuff takes a while to wear off.
