I’m back in my baby’s arms.

Might any of you recall this time last year when en route to Bellingham I lost my computer, and literally thought I was going to lose my mind?

Well, I’m back in both the Pacific Northwest’s, as well as Kona Bikecycles’ loving embrace for the annual Kona World showcase freakout, with my computer in hand.

Because I’m still in the throes of recovery, I’m afraid I won’t be able to partake in all of the hijinx and reindeer games that have become the norm, but I’ll be damned if I’m not going to do the very best possible job I can.

Or I’ll take a nap. Time will tell.

But firstly we have other matters at hand, which I will now attempt to handle handily. I would like to take the opportunity to mention even though the most recent Meet Your Maker ride was cancelled, the organizing bodies behind it haven’t slowed down.

The very next in the series is scheduled, and thanks to White Industries promises to be a good one;

Write it down on your hand and make your body present.

Moving on- I’d like to remind folks that after months and months of anticipation (mine mainly), on this coming Wednesday morning I will be letting the cat out of the bag regarding the featured act at this year’s Undertake Industry Mixer®;

I did receive a text message from Portland Lieutenant Governor, Jeremy Dunn the other day saying he knew who the band was, and that just a few nights earlier he was actually at the grocery store in line behind the bass player.

But he was wrong.

And speaking of events at which one can get ‘they drink on, I’d also like to mention that this coming Thursday in San Francisco, Bender’s and PBR are hosting an art show that not only was I tapped to take part in, but has a flyer that features the piece I made for it;
PBRshow
I can only assume this was because artists are gigantic flakes, and I was the only person who submitted some work on time.

Anyway, if you’d like to swing through and take advantage of what assuredly will be a good time, I wholly recommend you do. Not only will a portion of any pieces sold go to support Creativity Explored, but there will be a raffle in which folks can jockey for the chance to win this;

-Which doesn’t really suck.

In a segue of a totally self serving sort, another thing what doesn’t suck is having comfy feet. I feel like I’ve mentioned this before but can’t remember because my brain is filled with holes from months of inactivity, but right now I have a brand new shipment of both the mildly to wildly (depending on who you ask) AHTBM Department of Awesome socks;
AHTBM_DOAsocks
And my personal favorites, the quasi-sinister AHTBM Black Sole socks;
AHTBM_Blacksolesocks-1
They’re both made from a wool blend, meaning that they won’t stink (as much), are more breathable for your dogs, and as I previously stated are extra comfy.

And that right there is as concise a sales pitch as I can muster.

Obviously any orders that come in over the following week will sit a few days, but rest assured that they’ll be addressed the moment I return home.

Or at least at some point just after breaking free from baby’s arms.

    That PBR themed flyer is truly funny! How can I get one?

      I think you’d probably just have to make it yourself.
