A couple of hours before I wrote this, I thought of a pretty clever post title.
Alas, I’m gonna have to cut myself some slack because I’m literally using every bit of the (arguably limited) brain power I have available to me to remember where my keys are, to brush my teeth, to drink water, to reply to various emails that show up in my inbox (assuming I find a place in which to turn on my computer), and so forth.
Recalling a catchy little turn of phrase that happens to get farted out into my grey matter between synapse sputters is nearly unpossible.
So here we are smack dab at the head of day nine of this fool’s journey, and I’m just beginning to remember how to breathe.
I started in Bend with Tina and Carl, made my way to Portland with at least a smattering of that particular band of idiots, got claustrophobic, and ultimately skedaddled into the woods for a few days.
Now, as I type these words I’m actually posted up at a bar in South Seattle waiting for Sally to get off work, at which time we’ll create the standard array of regrets, before I dip out and continue my journey northward.
So until I find another bar with an available electrical outlet, here are days two through nine, in no particular order;
The coming days (give or take a few) will likely find me lurking in the loving embrace of my mom and dad, so assuming I can pry loose from their hugs and kisses, I’ll have another post before too long, and after that, it’s anyone’s guess.
I’ve heard tell of Idaho hot springs, somebody else’s family reunion, and a bag of mushrooms.
Where’d the camper come from?
Did I blink and miss something?
I worked about 200 hours a week for the last six months, and bought it.
Last image you posted was a Yot with some containers in the back and some steel steeds hanging off a rack.
I like the upgrade. It matches your eyes….
Your truck and camper are awesome!
That’s a nice pop top. I wondered what you were looking at in the camping arena.
Was that someone’s Caterham 7? Nice ride, for a little topless screamin’ around. =)
So far, so… far?
God speed you, Beige Emperor.
I’m sad I missed you when you came through Seattle 🙁
