“Holy Macaroni” -H. Simpson

Oh boy, do I have a bushel of garbage to get through today. Right out of the gate I would like to at long last push the official promotional information for the book that Chris ‘Scorps’ McNally have I been laboring over these last three years;

I texted Bob Scales a ‘press release’ (or something) about it, but it wasn’t very good. Then I sent that to Robot asking for him to polish my turd. Please forgive us.

Like to hear it? Here it go;

They say necessity is the mother of invention, but boredom is also a prime suspect. Strap Chris McNally and Stevil Kinëvil into a seat, illuminate the Fasten Seatbelts sign, and see what happens. Four arduous, distracted, pandemic-crippled years and hundreds of flights in the making, and we have ‘Nowhere Fast’, essentially a bound sketchbook filled with stream-of-conscious drawings depicting the sights, sounds, and emotions conjured by the miracle, and occasional abject boredom, of traveling by plane.

Please buckle up, sit back, relax, and we hope you enjoy your flight.

Anyway, I will have additional flyers for the Seattle and Portland events in the coming days, but for now the specific details are as follows;

Peloton Cafe Bike Shop, Seattle Friday March 24th, 6:00-8:00 pm

Golden Pliers, Portland Saturday March 25th, 2:00-4:00 pm

We will hopefully have a sufficient supply of books on hand for anyone who’s interested- (I’ve ordered an additional emergency supply for the PNW). If you happen to desire one of these beauts and cannot make it to one of our three in-store dates, I will have them available right here in the AHTBM web store shortly after my return to HQ;

Chris and I have chitchatted about the possibility of doing an eventual signing in Colorado, and maybe southern California, but time and finances will tell about all of that.

For now, I look forward to seeing everyone, and I thank you for your time and consideration on these matters.

Oh, and if you have to make an emergency water landing, you know what to do;

Moving onto other matters that likely don’t-

Because I know for certain that the audience of this here site loves mediocrity above all else, have I posted this one yet?;

Probably, but as I was skating last Sunday, I hit a pebble, and slammed so hard onto my left shoulder that my own bicep fractured two of my ribs. Did you get that? I broke my own body with my own body?

This for sure was a first.

So for now, I’m just here hanging out thinking about the old days when I could move, dance, high-five, and breathe.

Real quickly, I would like to discuss what is hands down the sexiest item of clothing/accessory I’ve ever owned;

This replaces the belt I’ve worn for at least 13 years, and was 11 kinds of blown out. I was dismayed to find that when it arrived, the brass belt buckle was riveted on. Thinking on my feet, I took it to a local leather repair shop (the same spot whop repaired my hairnet straps last year) and Juan banged it out before I could even finish my morning beer.

If you see me floating along on cloud nine, it might be because my pants are being held up in fantastically attractive style.

At this juncture, I don’t really have a whole lot else, so as I am one to do, I’ll now barf up the very newest episode of Revolting;

It’s the best new episode of our podcast I’ve heard today.

And for what it’s worth, I’m definitely the ginger kid in the above depicted scenario.

Ironic that we should spend the first however minutes blathering on about the short attention span theatre that is the internet, all the while doing nothing to detract from the noise, but humanity is only gonna be around for another one or two generations anyway, so who cares, anyway?

One things is for certain, which is always have cheesy macaroni.

Spread this like it's sick

    I’m sending some of my old pals from back in the old daze to yr PDX event. They may not be as exciting as I am, but they’ll have to do in my absence and I want to purchase some copies as soon as they are available to East Coasters.
