A snobby culturally significant hub of culture and cultural significance.

I'll be the first to admit that the stuff I like is the best stuff, and everything else is not. Ask anyone, and they'll maybe agree. Is Chicago style pizza better than New York style? No, but it's not worse. 2" round tow creepers are better than 1.5" pointy toed creepers though, and that's a fact;

Single speed mountain bikes rule, in general, mountain bikers are insufferable dipshits, Campy Record high flange track hubs are better than all the crown jewels in the world, Lance Mountain's Sad Plants are sadder than anyone's, there's no problem that a plate of Mexican food and a cold bottle of Budweiser can't solve, the word 'mosh' should never be used, and running the hottest water you can stand over poison oak blisters is one of the greatest feelings in the world. See? These are unequivocal truths. You might disagree, but you'd be wrong.
It's been said that opinions are like assholes in that everyone has one. To further conclude the thought, everyone is one as well. Except me.
You see, being the king of this particular castle, what I say is law... But only here and between my ears. Everyone is certainly welcome to the table (unless your opinion is more asshole than your actual asshole) but what I say is cool is, and what I ignore isn't.
Having said all of that, I would like to welcome you to a post in which I'm probably going to introduce you to some shit that's cool, because it is, and you are, and about 79% of the time, I am too.
Firstly, have Yinzers seen the recent Bronson Speed Co.', or Independent trucks' recent contests in San Diego's infamous Tick Ditch?
Shit's fucked, and Rhino is one of the most important people in skateboarding;
See? My opinions, are also universal truths. Heavy is the head that wears the crown.
Moving along to visual grander, I realize beauty is certainly in the beholder's eye, but poo shoe Joe recently turned me on to a Belgian art duo called Mothemeister that's totally blown my mind. It was when he and his wife were touring the Parisian catacombs when he found the book;

For some reason it took him a year to show it to me but from the first page, I was absolutely hooked;

Page after page leaves me reeling. I just got the second book for my own collection and I'm entranced. Going forward, I will be doing no paintings that aren't somehow influenced by Mothmeister's esthetic;
If this piques your interest, their second, and forthcoming third books as well as a smattering of prints and other various offerings are available here.

I got in on the pre-order weeks ago, and initially figured I just wanted 'Overflow' (singles, B sides, live recordings, etc.) but then decided that despite the fact I already own all of the records, I'd like the whole collection.

I have it on good authority there will be some of my favorite stuff ever available for sale, so if you go and you see something that reminds you of me, my collection would forever be in your debt.

This of course is the follow up to their 2020 release “How Long Have I Been On Fire?” which still holds up and one of the best records of the last ten years. They are my favorite and I hope that if they're not already, soon they'll be yours too.
Now that we've covered all of this good stuff, here's a little bit of the potentially mundane;
It might not be much, but one thing I can possibly say is that it's certainly a significantly cultural snobbery.
