And we're off to the races.

Another day and another dollar here on the olde website, and though I thought I was gonna be down for the count this week due to a small medical procedure I had done recently;

-The Wolverine blood in me got me up and running faster than I'd initially imagined.
It turns out a life time of working on bikes, swinging a hammer, digging holes, and falling hands first onto the ground isn't so very good for a body, so apparently the carpel tunnels in my wrists had closed up over time leaving me with some banjaxed paws.
I'd always thought carpal tunnel syndrome was akin to arthritis or something, but after a recent series of conversations, and ten years of bad sleep, I'd learned that there was a test that could be done with a physical therapist during which time they would lightly apply little electrodes to your arm and look at a sine wave on a screen.
I'm not entirely sure what that screen indicated, but at least in my situation, it indicated that my shit was fucked. So I went in, got syringes full of clear liquid shot into my hand, laid down, and had a bunch of tools jammed into a little hole in my wrist. I've had dental appointments that were worse, and while it doesn't feel great at this current time, it definitely feels better than it did a few days ago.
The miracles of modern science, you know?
I go in for my left wrist on the 29th and after that, I'll be good as new.
Speaking of 29, did you all know that 32" is the new wheel size industry standard?;

I'm holding out for the 66er.
As most of you all probably know, the Sea Otter classic 'Celebration Of The Bicycle'®™© just happened this pas weekend, and since Ive moved, I no longer attend but at my last appearance, I think it was the 28th or 29th Sea Otter I'd been to.
Thankfully now days, I just hang out, save my money, and pull photos off the internet;

I also hear there was finally a gravel race at the event, (Actually, I think it was last year) which if you've ever done the Sea Otter classic XC race is kinda funny because that's all it ever was anyway;

Cash grabs are gonna cash grab.
All I know for certain is that we did it better back in the olden days than anyone will ever be capable of doing it in current times, or ever again.;

One rad thing I did see was the following photo I yoinked from Wakeman of House of Looptail;

Apparently this was last year as it turns out he was in Montana all week.
What is time but a flat circle anyway?
Now then- Having addressed all of that, we've arrived at the time when we must part ways, so I will leave you with a brand spanking new episode of Revolting;

There's nothing left to do now but start your horse engines.
