Coming at you from the office.

Except mine looks more like this;
Another day, another dollar, you know what I'm saying?
So, did anyone who is reading these words watch this weekend's One For The Weekend?
You should;
It's so good I don't even mind the always predictable Dave Growl cameo.
I recall hearing that this was made, but as far as I know, this was the first time it's been available for viewing for the likes of me.
I remember that final show (they've obviously played since) as it was after a Halloween cyclocross race. My race was finished, I slapped a couple hands and hauled ass home for the live stream. There clearly is so much more to their story than what any of us gleaned from various articles, or the odd interview and this doc seems to have covered all of it. If you have a penchant for this band, I encourage any and all to sit back and take it in. You shan't be sorry;

Back when I was in college, and really re-immersing myself in making zines was around the time when The Helicopters first came on the scene. It was quite random when I opened my PO box one day and got a package from Sweden containing their first 7" record, which is still a prized possession to this day;

Aaaand speaking of fanzines, I got a wild hair and began scanning some of the zines I've made since 2012, and eventually I plan on scanning the coming books I made while I was a messenger as well;

Maybe I won't scan everything. Or maybe I will. Thus far, I've only scanned the first two issues of the AHTBM zine I started in 2012, both of which are over on the IG, but I'll at least repost the latter of the two here;

And there we have it. Number 1, or the second of six issues.
Also, I feel compelled to mention that cross season is almost here which is important to note because cyclocross rules;
Though what the rest of us do in comparison to the greats isn't exactly the same.
Finally, while in the olden days we called them 'zines', then after a while, we called them 'blogs', but now days we can call them 'podcasts', of which I have my new episode of the one I do right here;

Though it's way harder to fold up and put in your pocket.
