Doing the Sisyphean grind.

Today is Tuesday the 5th of November and I'm immediately transported to eight years ago when we were having this same 'peek through our fingers, burying our heads under the covers' trauma we're experiencing today..
For my part, I managed the mounting anxiety by pissing off to see my orthopedic surgeon/titanium bicycle fabricator and got a consultation for my upcoming surgery. Truth be told, discussing the details of imminent pain and confinement to bed didn't unwind my brain as much as I thought it might.
So, while that part wasn't super fun, I decided to make a day of it and went to the Museum of Pop Culture where among other things, I saw Jimi Hendrix's white Fender on which he played the Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock;
The actual mixing board from Electric Ladyland;
Woody Guthrie's fascist killing machine;
Scully and Mulder's badges;
Mork's spacesuit;
Greg Sage's Gibson;
Kim Thayil's Guild;
One of Kurt's broken Univox guitars;
Then, moving on from badass music stuff, I saw this guy;
And this thing;
And these guys;
And this guy;
And then at the end of the day, while it was in another location entirely, it was none the less important, I saw this little lady;
Pound for pound, it was a real nice way to spend what might be the last normal day I have for a while.
Moving along, I would like to drop a little bit of business related news in that I finally have a full batch of AHTBM key leashes back in stock;
For anyone who missed my recent tutorial on how to make them more bomb proof (the old brass couplers ruled. The new silver ones leave a bit to be desired)- here's your refresher;
And now finally, as we face the end of not only today's post, but probably the end of the world, please allow me to present the 151st episode of the Revolting podcast;
While the grind is real, we might as well show you how at least for now you might fake it.

I’m honestly kind of shocked that Hendrix’s guitar is in that good of shape. Other than some scratches that were probably caused by his jackets and clothing. Woody Guthries guitar is a thing that would probably make tears well up in my eyes to see in person. He was punk as fuck.
Looks like a good day out distraction while it lasted! Thanks for checking in, Stevil. Keeping it real together is the only way through.
