Gonna put a pin in this one.

Gonna put a pin in this one.

Here at AHTBM HQ (or H.A.A.H.T.B.B.H.Q. for short) I have fucked all the way off for several days because sometimes one needs to do that once a week, or month, or quarter, so in light of that, this week's effort might be a smidge light.

I would apologize if I cared but I don't.

Having said that, let's continue.

As I said, I don't have much in the way to report. I've been buried this week trying to stay alive, which come to think of it is an increasingly common theme.

I can describe a funny turn of events in my collection of bicycles I suppose.

So, it was at the last MADE show when Donkelope Greg built a big 'ol fat-tired monster cross bicycle, which ultimately no one bought off of him. It hung in his shop until a few months ago when he asked if I wanted to ride it. "Of course" was my response, and after a few sparse conversations he concluded that he'd like to trade it to me for a painting of his beloved weirdo Kyber;

So now I'm the proud owner of one more super cool bike I have no room for;

You know I'm no fan of them tan wall tires the kids go apeshit for, but maybe it's time to turn over a new leaf since I can't afford to replace them anyway.

Anyway, it's a ripper, I look forward to many years of questionable decisions with it, and I thank Greg for his dedication to crafting a vehicle on which I will assuredly make them.

Now there's this one for those who care;

The comment that resonates;

"I didn't expect to be this heartbroken."

Between sharing the sonic landscape created by Steve and Rick Froberg, I'm a better person for it.

Speaking of, a couple of months ago, I was lucky enough to end up with a copy of this Rye Coalition 7", which if you're a fan, I'd encourage you to attempt to do the same;

Relatedly, it bears worth repeating- Rick's book (a thing I initially detailed here) is also one worth adding to your collection;

He was just the best.

And now lastly, how about some more stuff to listen to with the brand newest episode of the Revolting podcast;

Two blathering blatherers. to be certain.

Until next week, we'll just keep a pin in it.
