Good day, babies.

Good day, babies.

I think I've unlocked a way to manage the chaos of the current day.

Work yourself into complete and utter physical exhaustion.

That's it. That's all you gotta do.

After working three closing shifts and two regular shifts, plus riding bikes, and not sleeping, I now am more concerned with dying from sleep deprivation. It was so simple yet I overlooked it entirely.

I don't know how much gas I have to write today's post but I will say that I stopped by the Northwest Tune-Up, saw some nice friends, and took some photos of some cool stuff, had one hell of a ride, both of which I will provide photos of which with a hope that it will be enough fodder for you this week.

Firstly, I stopped by to see some friends at Shimano. All I will say about that is that my friends there are still really nice, and the new GRX and XTR groups are super badass;

I'm not saying I might will wind up with access to some of the new GRX, but I'm not saying I might won't either. It all hinges on what fate has in store for me. If the winds happen to blow right for me, then you'll hear about it here first.

Then I moved on to see some other things and people, some of which looked like this;

Kona was back with the purp, and Trail Boss had tools;

My old SCB compatriot Garen and I hung out with Handsome Lawrence Jobe of Pivot Bikes;
And I saw another former SCB employee, Mariano;
Who to the untrained eye looks a lot like Jay Sycip;
Eric 'Mr. Blacksocks' Richter (who is currently managing the Mondraker brand) with whom I discussed appropriate drunken alter egos, and questioned why he doesn't have one;

Obviously no brief tour through the pits would be complete without a visit with Verg;
Veteran road dogs, every last one of them.

It's like a mini Sea Otter and I always appreciate the chance to slap hands when I can;

After two solid nights of work I cracked my eyes open to get after it on the annual Hessian Wheelworks ride which essentially is just like the old Hairnet Rides I hosted but with better riding and more swimming holes;

It obviously was a parade of honkies, but even still, it was the very best.

One thing I noted was for as many years as I've ridden bikes, and in person, or any form of media, I've never seen a group of people like us.

If I was out riding bikes, and I saw us, I would immediately want to be friends. That's a pretty good quality in a community I think.

Now, finally, at long last, and in conclusion, here's the newest effort of the Revolting Postcast;;

I hope you like it.

If not, don't be a baby.
