Here we go again.

Here we go again.

Before we get into absolutely anything, I want to provide photo credit for today's header photo of Zeb taken by Jon Mancuso on their trip to Moab this weekend;

I don't like asking people for the fruits of their eye for free, but then again, I wasn't in Moab this weekend with Zeb, and I also have no means with which to compensate Jon for his camera button pushing away, so here we are at zero like always.

I do appreciate their effort in helping make this website look snazzy this week though. Sometimes you gotta lean on your friends when you're shy on snaz, you know?

Moving on, between a full weekend of adult babysitting, and then spending nearly all of Sunday with my friend in the ER (it finally wasn't me this time), I ended up running out of gas with which to light a new post on fire. I beg forgiveness. In light of these developments, I'll cobble together a quilt work of whatever additional fodder I happen to have lying around for your consideration.

Firstly, straight from the FRP (Fucko Racing Products) lab, I came across this example of majesty;

I feel like one could achieve the same weight savings by simply skipping breakfast.

While we're on the topic of drilling holes, the following clip depicts one of the most important guerrilla art installations in contemporary history;

The artist's name is Dion Kitson, and is most assuredly one who should get credit for making art that doesn't suck.

Moving on for folks within a stone's throw (or there about) from Canada's Tijuana-  the the site where I regularly engage in the aforementioned adult babysitting is once again set to host their annual Maker's Market in just less from a month from now;

I'll be there, as will a number of other artists, makers, collectors, and assorted ne'er-do-wells, so if you feel like doing some last minute holiday shopping, or just want to swing through to browse, mark your calendars.

Next up, I have to ask any interested parties if they've gotten a load of this;

For over five years I've been trying to figure a way to sweet talk custom painters or builders into putting something like this together for me. (At one point several years ago I even had a $1,000 deposit in with Turks and Jerps to build me one, but ultimately due to time constraints, he opted out).

Now, at long last RC4WD has fulfilled my dream. All I had to do was wait.

Though at almost six bills, I definitely don't have the dough to burn, but I do have a lot of records I can sell, and my body keeps making plasma. One way or another I'm gonna wind up with one of these, and when I do, the slow motion videos will flow freely;

I mean, the only reason I taught myself how to edit videos to begin with was to make a clip like this with the right truck anyway.

Moving on from that thing to the next thing, I can't help but wonder how absolutely badass it would be to live in this neighborhood;

I mean, despite the fact that it's in BFE Granada Hills or wherever.

And with that, I suppose my bag of fodder is once again empty-ish.

Though today's effort may not have been much, at least I've got a new episode of Revolting for you here;

And pardon the slight lag before we start saying words. I don't understand the black magic behind creating a podcast episode. Maybe no one does.

We're just running in circles over here.

That header photo makes my palms sweaty. Nope for me. Also, I never, ever get tired of your slo-mo RC truck jump/yard sale videos

Coffeebreak Jake

1. they said on the radio today is national occult day. thought you’d like to know.

2. wondered if you saw that truck. figured you did. I’ve not heard good things about the mechanicals of RC4WD trucks but the body and scale stuff is quite good.

3. I guess you never saw my Swiss Cheese Woods Dart bike. Didn’t ride it much after getting to SC. True Temper S3 frame built by Peacock Groove, Igleheart fork, 29" front, 26" rear, drilled out rear facing horizontal dropouts with hanger, drilled most stuff, but not nearly to the level you show. It was a fun but kind of stupid project. All done in 2006.

yafro

That header photo makes me feel something. I believe that’s vertigo. Holy Moly.
