Hollering from over here.

Back in December folks might remember the tragic and untimely death of mega-homie Devin Curran;

Not only was he an avid mountain biker, but he adored the four wheeled wooden toy as well;

Well, I was overjoyed when I came across Chad Knapp's feed in which he displayed a labor of love which (to my understanding) will soon be installed at the MMR park  in Scottsdale where Devin was a fixture;

It's going in at 6pm on the 23rd of this month, so if any local friends want to swing through for its christening, now you've got the deets. Certainly, if anyone does, a few photos and words about how it went down would be hugely appreciated. 

One historical events I don't need any documentation on happened last night at the world famous Cabin Tavern;

For many, many years I wanted to do this format at any bar who would have me, but never could pin any locations down. Once I relocated to the PNW, I finally wound up with the opportunity which was a gas. I've had a couple of nights I played records since, but the 7" A-Z theme is certainly one that's near and dear to my heart. 

As you can imagine, it's quite a hustle getting songs cued up one after another with little to no margin for error. I'll probably bring along a LP or two just so I can take a break to pee or whatever, but it was a gas breaking out the entirety of my collection just to see how it all sounds together;

It was like watching paint dry but with a better soundtrack.

I'll do it again eventually, and likely on the sooner side.

In other news of things that have passed- The Tracklocross Nationals happened just one week ago. I hollered at Namba from Squid Bikes yesterday and he said his compatriot Pete was supposed to send me the promotional material but apparently never did.

My god. We've got the most efficient communication system the world has ever known, and this is what I do with it. My sincere apologies. I'll try and round up some updates soon.

Now that my two fully busted paws and I have covered all of that which was left to be covered, let me say that 'AI art' is a contradiction in terms, people overwhelmingly ruin everything they touch, and because Robot was vacationing last week, the newest episode of the Revolting podcast was a day late.

(As of Tuesday morning, it's not up.

Insert shrug emoji here We're clearly very good at what we do).

The 230th episode? We're just about to find our rhythm.
