That's just to say I've been slammed ten ways from Sunday this week, and I don't really have much in the way to report.
I've started back at the bar, sold my camper, have had an illustration job that's been kinda killing me, and have taken on a couple of new commissions. Between that and just wading through the waning days of winter, I haven't found myself with much bandwidth to write a proper post here, or even immerse myself in that which I could potentially write about, and for that I'm sorry. I don't get the kind of help in the mail bag I used to, so here I sit with my thoughts alone.
It's certainly not because I don't care for the good people who choose to continue coming here week after week. Sometimes you just run out of gas and hours in the day, you know?
Anyway, I certainly appreciate your time and consideration on the matter, and in the meantime, I feel compelled to first state big things are coming down the pipe towards the All Hail The Black Market market;
This here is the sixth(!) skateboard deck released under the AHTBM banner, and I'm real excited about it. I'm doing 100 from the jump, and might possibly do a second hundred if there's interest.
I'm definitely keeping a couple for myself, because if I'm honest, I think this is one of the most perfect shapes ever;
It's a corner store cruiser, abandoned mini golf pool slasher, and parking block violator, and I can't wait.
Why, in preparation for their arrival, I've already folded and cut down 18 boxes;
Clearly I'm a man on a mission.

And yes, while I endlessly talk smack on Dave and his dumb band, I do love him as a drummer, and to see him playing a song (the name of which I'm struggling to remember) with Uncle Bob fills my heart with so much joy, it's set to burst.
