Like this, but different.

Firstly, anyone with eyes and ears (my apologies to those with neither) are aware of a very real humanitarian disaster currently developing in and around Ashville, NC. We here at AHTBM HQ (and by 'we' I mean 'me') have a friend named Courtney who lives in them thar hills and has been working tirelessly for days cutting downed trees, clearing roadways, and assisting whoever and wherever she can. When last we communicated she said while she was safe, the situation as a whole was dire.

It's with her recommendation I'm reposting this link which has a host of verified resources if you have the means to help;

I gave what I could, and will again when I get a little more fluid financially. If you might have a twomp or two yourself, think of it as paying towards healthy karma, and helping some folks who are in desperate need of it.

One thing I learned when helping in the aftermath of the Camp Fire that the one thing which was desperately needed from the jump, and for months and months afterwords was clean socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and tampons.

I bought and shipped bushels of those items specifically.

In communicating with the aforementioned Wolff, she gave me an address to which items such as these can be shipped, and agreed that they will do huge amounts of good in the immediate future. If you got so inspired, packages containing any and all of those items, or whatever you felt would also be vital can be sent to the following location;

Courtney Wolff

643 Peaceful Haven Dr. Unit P1

Boone, NC. 28607

Having addressed that from the jump, I thank you for your attention on the matter and let's get on with a couple of important matters of business.

Moving on to other very important first things, Ashley and I have been kinda killing ourselves building a new store and giving this old site a facelift. To celebrate my 15th year in business I was planning on launching a line of rhinestone bejeweled leopard print fezes, but instead I invested all of that money into making the site not such a smoldering heap. Can you smell that? It's the smell of sexy success.

I hope that it is considerably more user friendly than it's ever been before.

As always, thank you for your time and consideration on this matter.

Secondly, though not more importantly, it's been some time since I've been in touch with David from Atomic Cycles, (he's since relocated from Seattle to Portland) but a couple of months ago he got in touch and asked if I'd be interested in a new run of cyclin g caps. Since his are the best thing since a Chuey cap, I enthusiastically said yes, and then hunkered down to wait.

As goes the adage, good things come to those who do, and upon cracking open my post office box the other day was met with a bonanza;

If you'd like one yourself, get it here.

No idea when these might come along again, so if you're interested, get on it sooner than later.

In a final bit of business related news, Robot has spent the better part of the last six months creating a Revolting playlist. It's on Spotify, so if you're like me, you'll never hear it, but you likely have most of the songs on vinyl anyway.

That of course is an exaggeration. If you don't want Robot's efforts to be for not, give it a look-see and let him know you appreciate it;

I mean, unless you don't.

And speaking of music- Did you know that the vinyl of O ZORN's! newest record is finally available on vinyl?

The pressing plant in Prague went totally dark, and at one point, Bill (singer and guitarist) inquired as to if I'd be interested in flying over there with him to lump some people up. Thankfully it didn't come to that, and not only is the vinyl starting to trickle into people's hands, but I have it on good authority that the band is back in the studio currently tracking a brand new record.

Sometimes good things happen for bad people who wait.

Moving along to other matters- Have you all seen that new Blockhead Skateboards video I've been going on about?

I was pushing the various public premiers a few weeks ago, though because I was unable to get to any of them, I had to wait for this video to be released just the rest of the plebes.

It was so fun watching that, and was additionally exciting seeing cameos by some of my friends. Watch it now, or bookmark it and watch it later. Whatever you do, watch it, and then go outside and play with your friends.

Now, having said all of that, as the curtain falls on today's effort, I'd like to present the very newest episode of Revolting;

Just like this brand new website and all of the other episodes, it's different, but mostly exactly the same.
