Hello and good day. Welcome back and everything is terrible.
Have I ever mentioned that at some point during 2019, I formulated the theory that in 2015 (or whenever they started up the Hadron Collider), we all died, and never before in human history had so much energy had to be processed all at once, so essentially we're all currently in limbo and what we're all experiencing is a collective hallucination?
I talked with a friend of mine whose dad was an engineer on the project and after pleading with him to ask what exactly happened that day, he'll respond with various non-answers like "well hon, sometimes you just shouldn't mess with nature", and stuff like that.
Then in 2020 or 2021 I came across an article about a six year old who came up with the same theory, which further confirmed that I was probably right.
It's only been recently that I began wondering if the six year old in question was actually me.
And this is but one of the things I spend my days pondering.
Firstly, I would like to let folks know that I have just taken on an order of 130 pairs of L/XL Black Sole socks;
I still have a bunch of the S/Med ones as well, if that sort of thing strikes your fancy.
As has been the trend, I needed some new pairs of socks, so why not order twelve dozen or so?
Now then- this juncture seems like a good time to bring out Little James and continue his fifteen seconds of fame;
I hope wherever Little James is today, he's living his best life, hopefully as a veterinarian.
Moving along to the mail bag, I got something from Snakebite last week that I plum forgot to include;
None are me but the bike in the one off the car ramp is a dead ringer for my first.
Snakebite"
I suspect we all have at least one similar photo of ourselves in our respective archives. I sorta looked for one of mine, but came up with not much, but I did find these, which are pretty cool;
The upper echelon of mediocrity indeed.
In other news from the mail bag, my old pal, mountain bike buddy, former messenger compatriot, and as it turns out, figurative younger brother figure shared this story he told and recorded this past spring;
I had to watch this a couple of times to take it all in, and I'd be lying if I said this story didn't positively touch me to the center of my being. We certainly had some rambunctious and fantastic times back then.

Thanks for sharing and thanks for caring Steve! If we find ourselves at another messenger party remember don’t pick up any dollar bills on the ground
