The mission is complete.

The mission is complete.

I wasn't sure if I should include the above image or potentially one of the A-Team, because they were always rescuing people too;

Admittedly, I'm not such a Rambo aficionado that I could tell you if this is a movie where he rescues someone, though based on my favorite bachelor party video that's ever existed in the history of everything, I'm pretty sure he does;

For those who may not be up to speed, you can check in on last week's post or talk with someone who maybe has. For those who are, it was touch and go for the last two days we were out of town what with logistics, meetings with caseworkers, conflicting information from doctors, my dad's inability to retain or process much if any information regarding what was happening on a daily basis, but we finally got the entire boondoggle loaded into a plane, and then to our connection home, and holy shit is my nervous system overloaded.

But I don't think it's anything that several hundreds of dollars worth of massage, cranial sacral, and psychedelic therapies can't handle, and now I will begin to pursue at least which ever modalities I can afford.

One thing I was able to financially cover was to attend a local cross race with a 12 pack of beer on Saturday to let everyone who was racing know I thought they were terrible people, but most especially Donkelope Greg;

At one point an older fella walked by after we lambasted Greg with a chorus of boos, and said "oh, so we don't like that guy?"

"We sure don't" I said. "Feel free to let him know you don't like him as well."

We hurt those we love.

Moving on to other matters...

I've muttered a murmuring here and there about a project Chrome Industries and I have been plotting together, and while it's too soon to let any specific cats out of their various bags, (my part is still a couple weeks from being fully completed and I don't want to jinx myself). I was stoked they reached out though and I hope this project is a success;

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I can say that I got a nice little care package the other containing a coupe of pairs of wool socks, this sling bag which I kinda wish was a hip bag;

-And these simple, yet fetching gloves;

These were sitting on top of a pile of other random bits of life's detritus and I grabbed them as I washed out the door yesterday. As summer transitions into fall, the leaves fall to the ground, and a bite is in the air, these mitts were perfect, and I thank Chrome for their support.

A bunch of people have hollered at me asking that I ask them to make the knickers again, or the merino hoodie, or the skateboard backpack, etc. and so on. I realize you never know what you're gonna get with each iteration of Chrome, but the current leadership seems committed to the brand's legacy, and hopefully through that, will be able to reintroduce some of the slam dunks they've had over the years.

Having said all of that, it's normally at this juncture when I introduce the newest episode of Revolting, but what with the chaos of the last couple of weeks, Robot and I haven't been able to record, and for this I am sorry.

However I can say that the 250th episode has been recorded this very morning and will be available for consumption one week from today, if not sooner.

As always, thank you for your time and consideration on this matter, and I'm well aware  that it's about goddamned time.

You know, like that one guy says,  "I love it when a plan comes together".

Thankful to hear that people are at least home and hopefully on the mend.If I have any say in the matter, use the merch dollars I sent you last night to have at least one beer on my behalf.
