In this time of government officials and pundits alike condemning an assassination based on a 'difference of opinion', I can't help but reflect on the life, times, and legacy of Fred Hampton;

I will leave it at that.

I don't have answers, or questions... I only have confusion that grows every day. I've spent a fair bit of my life as an other, forever feeling like the squarest peg in a world of round holes, and the icing on the cake is another school shooting at my almamater which barely registered as a blip on the radar. 

Have you seen that movie called 'I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore'?

It's a good one, and to see David Yow's acting chops was refreshing. My point is though the storyline depicted and that which I'm attempting to express don't specifically relate, the sentiment is perfectly expressed.

Every day I've waken up since 29016 has been a fever dream. I feel like everyone is arguing in a language I don't understand, and as it gets  louder, the further I drift away. Do I have opinions? Certainly, but expressing myself in a room full of cacophonic noise is exhausting, and I was out of gas to begin with. 

I swear it feels like I'm going crazy sometimes, and I barely have the words to express it.
