Do you ever just not wanna?

Do you ever just not wanna?

Same.

Now look- I've try and never put up a false front here. When shit sucks, I wholly and freely acknowledge it. I attempt to steer clear of any sort of pity parties, (I guess that's subjective), but (I will likely say this on next week's episode of Revolting as well), you know that a physical therapist telling you that you have chronic and severe carpal tunnel syndrome was the best thing that you experienced that week, things are rough.

I've had some intense family stuff go down which has left me with not a lot of bandwidth for doing anything but heavy lifting for them, and not so much for maintaining the bloggins machine.

As I bounce back and forth between trying to manage that, one of the other three jobs I keep, and this here pulpit, I reflect on the fact that the system (economy, Capitalism, whatever) literally grinds you to death. Need to take some time to care for your elders, nurture your sick child, and/or clean up after whatever disaster has found you? Tough shit, kid. Keep making that bread or die.

To say I fucking hate it here would be a smidge of an understatement.

This is all to say I'm cooked, so for at least this week, I appreciate the consideration regarding the fact that I don't have much additional brain power with to preach the word of the Black Market.

One thing I can offer however is some art that doesn't suck from the pen and brush of Alvaro Naddeo;

I've had him up here previously, but he's a homie and just got pimped over on the Hi-Fructose IG feed, so I thought I'd give him another additional boost up in here as well.

I love it. It smacks of child's whimsy, is expertly executed, and conjures up notions of middle fingers to society at large and living simply by one's own rules. Or at least that's how my current state of mind reads it.

Then as always, I have a brand new episode of the Revolting podcast;

Robot and I never even broached the given subject, and it was more of a conversation between people trapped either in a car on a road trip, or in an elevator during an extended power outage.

So I sincerely hope you find some enjoyment in at least those things, unless you like, just simply don't wanna.
