If this is all that shows up on Friday..
it’s because my home base has gotten slammed with several days of torrential storms, knocking the power out, effectively turning my home into a cave;

An event for the ages has come and gone, and with it, most of my capacity to formulate cognitive thought.
I went to the San Francisco custom bike show and all I got was this stupid hangover.
No, seriously. I was raging my face off all weekend (and why wouldn’t I, given the crowd I had to rage with?)
Leave room for seconds.
Considering that this site has been fairly well balled up with specific lines of thought over the course of the last week or so, I figure now might be as good a time as any to barf up an assortment of correspondences, images, and ruminations.
Pass your plate to the left and I’ll be happy to pile it high with nonsense.

After seeing the images of the amazing devastation in Japan, it’s difficult to construct a post. All of the issues, or stories, or agendas that I might broach pale in comparison to what they are contending with. If I had a heart, it would certainly go out to them. One thing I have noticed while taking in the various news feeds, is that not once has any of the talking heads made even a single mention that if it were not for the incredible engineering and the stead fast resolve and preparedness of the Japanese people, the death toll could have very well been in the hundreds of thousands.
(Please note that at the time of writing this, the state of the meltdown was not known. Writing posts ahead of time under the guise of writing in real time is proving to be difficult.)
