Still on the road (again).

As I mentioned on Friday, with only one day at home under my belt after returning from Bakersfield, I freaked out and beat feet out of town again, this time to the cold green north to see my folks, and to get approximately both of my nuts frozen right the hell off.

Luckily, I found a wee bit of time to get out on wheels with Opie the Biking Viking, and do some birthday celebratory shenanigans, and do some birthday celebratory shenanigans we did;

Eventually we wound up at the infamous serial killer bar (who’s got really good tots, by the way), where several years ago we almost met our end at the hands of our own personal psycho;
Trust me... Just watch until the end.
Thankfully we ended up not buried under her house then, or that of someone else after our most recent trip.

Chalk up a win for the good guys.

So for those keeping score, it’s been two and a half weeks since everything went sideways on the site, sending the store, two weeks worth of posts, and various components of all of it into the abyss.

This coming Thursday, my web Yoda will be getting back into civilization. It will be then that she’ll either tell me that we can pull the current incarnation of the site out of the fire, and get ‘er all polished up again, or that she never wants anything to do with me and my bad luck existence again.

I’m hoping for the former, but preparing for the latter.

In the meantime, I will once again remind folks of two things.

The first being that the clock is ticking on the Nerd Off;

Needless to say, between my best friend dying, struggling with site issues, and traveling, having the bandwidth/energy/money to build a model hasn’t been in the cards. I’m still gonna give it a shot, but I doubt I’ll be bringing the razzle dazzle to the table I have the last couple of years.

Secondly, and most importantly, that goddamned wool jersey project is still going ahead at full power;

The sooner I knock out this order, the sooner I can move on to the next project, and the next project after that and so on.

This year was gonna be mine, but as it turns out, it’s just inspired to me to hit the road, and keep not looking back.

Spread this like it's sick

    What’s the worst thing you can hear after giving Willie Nelson a blow job?
    I’m not Willie Nelson.
