For every day a little rain must fall.

Last week I went down the AI generated rabbit hole and discovered an absolute treasure trove of the most confusing imagery the internet has to offer. Like for example;

And maybe even better;

Though my personal favorite was the brave soldier coming home to his melting wife and daughter, while baby Cha-Ka patiently waits in back for his snuggles;

I think the time to turn the computer off and return to drafting physical media is now.

And speaking of which, though I can’t say specifically what will be inside, Robot and I have been slowly assembling what will eventually be a whole Revolting fanzine;

True to my directive, I’m a sucker for a wordy title.

I can’t say for certain when this will get done, but you can bet that when it finally is, it’s gonna be just as average as you’d expect.

Moving along- Another good reason to turn off the computer is to get outside of enjoy some fresh air, and likely bloodied skin which is more or less what I did yesterday aboard my mountain bicycle;

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve ridden this bike (I’ve been riding various drop bar bikes exclusively since last fall).

The details of the recent kerfuffle at Kona have been widely publicized, though having had a peek behind the curtain, I’ve learned of some grim details don’t paint as rosy a picture as we’ve all been led to understand. Despite the branding on the downtube however, I still love the dumb bike so much;

Because I don’t have a spare few to eight thousand dollars rattling around, I also can’t afford a new one, so it’s best that I love it because it certainly ain’t getting replaced any time soon.

While we’re on the top8c of dirtbikesx, perhaps you’d like a preview of the Crans-Montana XC course;

Just some casual single track. No big whoop. (No pun or wordplay intended.)

Finally, I’d very much like to present the 133rd episode of Revolting;

I recorded today’s episode after digging trenches all day, so I was a little bit more out to lunch than normal.

We’ll just chalk this one up to a proverbial rainy day.

Spread this like it's sick

      2015 I believe? Maybe 2016. But it’s definitely a large.

    It’s funny to hear people belly ache about the increasing difficulty of XC courses. Elite level racing exists for one reason only, to sell bikes. Otherwise brands wouldn’t sponsor athletes or events. Go to a local bike shop and count how many XC bikes are on the floor. Even a high school shop teacher could count the number on one hand.

    The way the public rides mountain bikes has changed. The racing that sells those bikes also has to change.
