One of my favorite bits on this forum is the simi-regular 'art that doesn't suck' feature. In a world where aesthetics and a critical eye are not only not celebrated, but not even encouraged, or discussed, I hope that opening the doors to some of my favorite makers turns at least a couple of people on. If not, then at least I get the chance to look at cool art with my own eyeballs.

Two weeks ago I discussed  the Rick Froberg book that was just about to drop, and I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of. In the wake of Rich Jacobs' death, receiving the book was incredibly bittersweet as it was his publishing company who produced it, and him who curated the book, and wrote the forward to begin with.

I brought it to my studio, and cracked it open with a curious sort of affection rarely reserved for inanimate objects, as if both of these absolute titans were expecting some sort of discussion, response or critique;

He was so prolific in his short time on the planet, and I can't imagine a better tribute than this collection.

Then, on the same day, I received a signed copy of Al Columbia's collection by another oft-mentioned artist here in there Black Market, Al Columbia;

This issue was the counterpart to 2016's Amnesia #1;

Like the first effort, it's a collection of imagined movie posters that only a twisted mind like Al's could conjure;

I do love Al so.

If you'd like to further investigate Al's output, head to your local comic book store and request they get you a copy of The Biologic Show, or get your copies of 'Amnesia; The Lost Films of Francis D. Longfellowhere. You probably shan't be sorry.

I love the art I love, and perhaps you might love it too.

Moving onto very important business-ie types of business- A couple of weeks ago a fellow named Billy from Borah Teamwear reached out and asked if I might be interested in trying them out as a jersey supplier. Never one to rest on my laurels, we went about doing a few changes and updating, and included both men's and women's zippered jerseys for not only All Hail The Black Market, but for Blue Collar Bikes as well.

We've got short sleeved and 3/.4 length sleeved moto jerseys;

As well as the aforementioned zippered jerseys;

Please note- These American-made jerseys are in fact made to order, so while the turn around is quick, your patience is generally an important component of the process. Like I said before, we have women's cuts available in all of the styles as well, so if any of this piques your interest, please head over to my brand new Borah landing page.

No matter how many stops I pull out, I'm sure there will be a few grumblers saying I shoulda done full zip, or long sleeved, or thermal jackets air whatever, and to that I say I got over trying to make all of the people happy all of the time at some point in the late '70s, but if you holler at Billy, maybe he'll provide you with a different answer.

Lastly, Robot, Patrick, and I worked real hard to pull today's episode of Revolting off, so if that's sort of thing interests you, here it is in its entirety;

Stand back, arch one eyebrow, slightly purse your lips, and stroke your chin quizzically.

That's the proper stance, as any qualified galleriest knows.
