A full meal deal.

A full meal deal.

Throw on your lobster bib and prepare to dig in.

First up, last week's BRAIN article  regarding Paragon Machine Works' closure, while informative on a very surface level, didn't really scratch the surface and get into then firer details;

Leave it to Mike Ferrentino to put together the best and final word about all of this madness.

Truly, it throws me that this situation just gets sprung on us, but I guess in a world where everything is upside down and stupid, nothing should surprise me.

In news of art and dive bars- Mark contacted me some months ago and asked if I would be interested in submitting an edition of prints for a group show in Denver. Of course I said yes, and I'd hoped I would be able to promote it with some sort of flyer or another. Alas, it was not to be, but he did send an array of photos of the bash so we can kinda feel like we were there, or be sad that we weren't;

I appreciate being kept in the loop on this and I wish I could been present if for only a single cracked can. Perhaps I might always have next year.

Now, for the sake of full disclosure, the last few days I've been pretty ravaged by this flu that's been going around. I know I've been pretty cocky about my super Chinese herb/Vitamin C concoction, and I think if I hadn't been taking that I would be in far worse shape, but after a whole season of avoiding it, the plague found its way to me after all. This is to say this hitch in my giddy up hasn't left me much mental bandwidth with which to write a proper post, and for that I'm sorry.

Perhaps a brand new song by '68 might make it better;

It certainly can't make things worse.

Lastly, I would like to recommend a documentary I watched over the weekend.

Breakdown:1975;

Holy crap, man. We really should have listened to ourselves back then.

Now, having gotten through all of that, I have the two hundred and twenty fourth episode of Revolting;

Best not forget the antacids.
