I hope your ADD is firing off in a big way today because I have an assortment of fodder that is curated in no fashion whatsoever starting off with this absolute banger.

I’m not sure how this escaped my attention for as long as it has, but I’m glad it found its way to me eventually;

I hate that it’s as ear-wormy as it is, so you’ll have to forgive me if ever we cross paths and I make the suggestion.

Next up, for those who’ve paid half attention, there was the following photo of Blockhead Dave accompanying an interview in last month’s issue of Thrasher that grabbed me by my throat and wouldn’t let go;

How old is Dave now? 60? The dude still charges so hard.

I’ve been dying to see the footage but they’ve kept it pretty well guarded I think in an effort to debut it in this upcoming view premiere;

This is happening at the Oceanside Theatre in Oceanside, California, so if you happen to be in or around the vicinity, please attend in my absence and tell me all about it.

And speaking of things related to rollerboards, for anyone who might have an interest, the new issue of Thrasher features an homage to the one and only Lance Mountain;


Lance has been a favorite of mine since way, way back. He has always been an every-person sort of skater. It’s often been observed that while he may not have been the best (which by itself is purely subjective), he was the best at always making skating look like the most fun thing ever. He’s a clown, an artist, a carpenter, a musician, a renaissance man, and always a person worthy of admiration;

So should you also have a penchant for the Mountain, snag a copy.

In the realms of friends in need, I have a buddy named Christian. He’s currently injured, and mentally struggling. He’s a young guy for amount of grief his brain and body have gone through.

Anyway, he reached out to me and said he’s finding himself in a position to have to unload a whole bunch of his stuff and asked me how he might go about it. Bay? An online store? I told him I wasn’t sure but in whatever way he did it, I’d help push it into the internetsphere.

Late last evening I was notified of the following video and plea. He did his part, so here is mine;

This isn’t perfect. Neither am. I need help and I can’t deal with the guilt of the collateral anymore I usually bring with that. I have a family now so being so selfish isn’t really an option. Hopefully some of my half finished projects and uncomfortable memories help others out.

These will be posted on my story slide by slide within the next day via story. Gotta dig through to see what images I used. Started yesterday morning and haven’t slept. I’ve never done this before and am on a time constraint.

Here’s to all the Steves, Stephans and others who take care of the weird kids. Culture dumps too that shits been keeping my crippled ass sane. Even if they don’t understand the finer points of skateboarding or why cigarette sponsors were the most important in Motorsport.
