I pity the fool.

What could the timeless icon Mr. T possibly have to do with anything relating to the bits and pieces I’m about to cast my gaze upon?” you might be asking?

Exactly;

Right from the jump this morning I’ll tell you about a new product offering that was so successful I don’t even have them anymore;

There is a super remote possibility that I could get more made, but honestly, I only made a few so I could have one more for myself. That seemed like the best course of action.

I don’t know. Let me know one way or another and I’ll continue to think about it.

Next up, while I know it’s not polite to boast, my pal Suzy and I went to see ’68 the other night and they ruled;

I mean to tell you- On record they’re real good, but live, they’re on a whole different level;

If you missed them, you blew it but folks along the path of the tour’s remaining dates might still have a chance.

Moving on, I feel compelled to let people know that I recently discovered Proflex bushings aren’t not made of Nitrile/PVC (or whatever), but rather hardened Velveeta cheese cylinders which after time apparently return to their original almost-edible state;

Henrik and Bob couldn’t be reached for comment;

Not that this was, but in other news of absolute fuckery, I heard from my screen printer last week and he said that the Hessian Obsession shirts are finally, and thankfully under way;

He sent me a photo of the first test print and it looks amazing.

That’s the 3/4 length sleeve baseball T you’re printing on, right?” I asked.

Dot dot dot…

He finally continued.

Oh my god, is that what you wanted?

To which I said the following;

He immediately placed an order for the correct shirts which according to him, I should be receiving them next week, just in time to be convalescing after stage one of knee surgery, so assuming I can actually walk, I’ll get the orders filled post-haste.

I swear to god. This whole process has nearly been enough to inspire me to pack this whole shit show up and throw it in a hole.

Now then- I wanted to mention this last week, but didn’t have the information. I do have the information now though, so here it is.

If you’d like a magazine that not only I contributed to, but notables like Chris McNally, John ‘Robot’ Lewis, Rie, Sawed, Casey Potter, and others as well, then have I got a surprise for you because that exact thing is available right now;

I labored over my piece in ways that I hadn’t since my days with Paved Magazine, and if I recall correctly, which I likely don’t, but I think it’s one of the better things I’ve written. Certainly, Chris McNally’s accompanying illustration work will round it out in ways that all the words in the world could never.

I haven’t yet seen my copy, but because it’s a product of Bob Scales, I have no doubt it’s gonna be good.

Lastly, and certainly not while we’re on the topic of quality media, but it’s my honor to present the very newest episode of Revolting;

If you like, feel free to pick which one of us is Natalie, and which one of us is Tootie? There is only one correct answer.

Is the episode good? Probably not, and I pity the fool who feels otherwise.

Spread this like it's sick

    I wish you all the best for your surgery and a speedy recovery! It can only get better (in the bigger picture). If you are really bored, checkout ‘Loudermilk’ on Netflix. The new Iggy Pop is surprisingly great, the first Grinderman (Nick Cave) is fantastic, and The Burnouts (Close to Breakevil) are easy on the ears Or not. Either way: Hang in there!

      I looooved the first bunch of episodes of Loudermilk, and then it seemed to go further and further off the rails. though the episodes with Lissie were pretty great.

    Mmmm Velveeta! Had a friend that was borderline obsessed about the stuff. He even toured the factory and had a chunk of untinted (dyed?) cheese that he bought at the gift shop. It was fucking scary looking!
