Never stop learning.

When last we were together, I’d just concluded a baker’s dozen (plus two) on the road when I got called home to contend with a family emergency. While I don’t mind wearing most of my own heart on my sleeve here in the pages of the AHTBM web project, I feel more inclined to keep this particular set of cards a bit closer to my chest. Anyway, on day fourteen I found myself on an airplane returning to my home in Oakland, so what follows are in no particular order, the days that followed up until now;

I’m aware that the outside observer (or for that matter, even one on the inside) probably couldn’t guess by looking, but the last week has been one of the most challenging of my life.

Just the same, so far I’ve faced those demons, and as clumsy as it may have been, I’m still standing, but more importantly, still trying to learn.

Spread this like it's sick

    I like the return of Buddy painting. That pencil sketch with the hair is a heart ripper.

    You’ve handled it well, too. You’ve grown and learned and you will process all of it for a very long time. These are the events that add layers to our lives.
