Life keeps happening.

No matter how many fires you put out, or holes you plug, there will always be more.

Today finds me back in the PNW after a week in my old stomping grounds of Oakland. While I was there, I skated;

I saw friends from near and far;

In a super fucked turn of events, on my last day in town I wrenched my knee in such a way I thought I might have torn my ACL but according to preliminary diagnoses I might have once again narrowly dodged that bullet;

I have an MRI scheduled for there 8th, so until then, I guess I’ll sit and wait.

What this means in the short term is that my trip to Moab will be postponed, I will be spending a lot of time watching movies, and the local bloody mary supply might be in peril.

Finally, I concluded the whole journey by doing a drawing on an airplane;

Speaking of which, I still have a few signed and numbered copies of Chris McNally’s and my new book ‘Nowhere Fast‘;

If you haven’t, buy a copy so I can continue to afford to exist.

Anyway, all in all, it was a pretty stellar trip, and I was glad to see so many loved ones.

In bike racing news, Antonio Tiberi is a douchebag;

I shot at the cat but didn’t think I’d kill it.

One gas face served up piping hot for that greasy turd.

Lastly, I would like to direct your attention to the brand newest episode of the Revolting podcast;

You can listen to it on Cycling Independent, or wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts.

Is it the worst one? Far from it.

So, does that mean it’s the best one? Also no, (though the ‘would you rather’ is pretty good), but regardless, whether we want it to or not, life will keep happening.

Spread this like it's sick

    That “would you rather” was marvelous and somewhat disturbing. So nearly perfect? Keep up the good work.
