I quickie before I go.

So while we have a moment together, click off the light, and let’s let nature take its course.

Firstly, on the chance you had any curiousities about that this most recent running of the SSWC looked like, lucky for us, David snapped off a bunch of photos which can be found here;

But I gotta ask- How is it that Carl was able to organize and almost win his own event?;

I think it’s time to call in some NORBA officials.

Anyway, it did look like a real high time indeed, and I’m glad that those of us who couldn’t go can at least enjoy the experience vicariously.

So as I’ve said here and there and the other place recently, by the time you read this, (assuming that you’re reading it around noon Pacific time), I’m on an airplane en route to Washington DC for the Shimano Gravel season ender prom thing.

Standing here, typing these words out, I’m like, almost totally ready;

I hear it’s gonna be rain/snowing, with temps in the mid cold/uncomfortable.

It woulda been cool to go to someplace where winter wasn’t sitting it fat butt down and beefing it, but having been a beggar most of, if not all of my life, choosing is not a thing I dare attempt.

Before I jet away, allow me to throw up a contact from Malcom from the Denver and Team Meow camp;

Stevil-

But for real, we are throwing a Halloween double feature, Washpark Mayhem Crit Saturday the 27th, followed by our premier bandit cx race Halloween Havoc on Sunday the 28th. Here is a video from a few years back;

Attached is our flier for next week’s event;

If you could post, we would be forever in your debt.

Cheers from Denver,
XOX
Malcolm T

There wasn’t a flyer attached to the email, so I had to get a screen shot from their IG feed like a damned caveman.

If I ever make it back to Denver, I’m gonna make Team Meow treat me like a king.

In a final bit of news, I have an update on the forthcoming Voler moto jersey;

So the deal is this- I opted to do a 3/4 length sleeve version, and naturally, that’s a gigantic pain in the ass (I say ‘naturally’ because that’s how I do things). It seems that the 3/4 length is so new, they don’t even have a 3D template rendering of it yet, so what you see here is the short sleeve version. The steps Voler has to take is to actually make a garment and then shoot photos of it. My guy there on the inside said they should have things sorted about today or tomorrow, and we can open up a store for them at some point next week.

To answer the barrage of questions I’ve received regarding getting other styles- If you want a short sleeve jersey, cut the sleeves off. If you want a long sleeve jersey, cut the sleeves off one, and sew them on the other.

That said, I will be doing a new kit this spring featuring something like this design, and just as it’s been the last many years, moto jerseys, wind vests, thermal jackets, and etc. etc. will all be available for the duration of the initial order window.

Like I stated in today’s title, though the post was a quickie, the turn around on the new threads is not. But as they say, patience is a virtue, and if you hang tight just a bit longer, you’ll get yours.

Spread this like it's sick

    Washington, DC, has connecting flites thru MSP (cough, cough) where you’re startline status for Saturday’s Homestake Falling Dowwwn Festival is all but guaranteed. But, if being a prohessianal gargle grinder means you receive appearance money at the Potomac Pea Gravel Peccadillo, welp, then a profhessianal you must be…

    You wouldn’t happen to be doing a 2/3 length sleeve jersey would you? Thanks for the posts this week!

    Just saw this sweetness on youtube. So sick and it appears he’s familiar with the Peralta Waggle.
