And for now anyway, here I am.
Having finally returned to the place where I’ve called home for the last several decades, because I’m buried under more mail, business-ie junk, deadlines, unpacking duties, broken computers, and etc. than I ever thought possible, besides an array of various photos, instead of a proper post, I’ll include days 162 until now, and plagiarize a recent IG post in which I declared the following;
Over 6,000 miles, fifteen states, one Canadian Provence, two rear mountain bike wheels, four tires, one hydraulic brake set, three books, 90 postcards, a half a sketchbook, one 30 year reunion, twenty-two blog posts, five rock shows, one 7:00 pm bed time, one 6:00 am bed time, one set of bike shoes, one set of skate shoes, dozens of old friends, bunches of new ones, one absolutely soul crushing two week long anxiety attack, three night terrors, one tarot card reading, one energy reading, thousands of laughs, lots of tears, hundreds of beers, two bottles of bourbon, more love and support than any single person could ever hope for, and one hundred and sixty seven days.
And just as I did in this post, how’s about a little juxtaposition;
I do loves me some before and after shots.
Anyway, moving on…
And it’s with this, I conclude my days away, and have safely landed back at home, whatever that means for today, and look forward with cautious optimism to tomorrow.
Oh. Wow. ❤️
Good to have you back, and may your return be a great new day in the book! Take care, and most importantly, “Keep on Spinning!”
Stevil, been seeing photos of those rad Mr. Roger’s skateboard decks in recent weeks. Are there any plans to do another run of them? I totally missed the boat trying to pick one up, and would like to. Feel better dude! –Gordon
There is not, but I have a new deck in the works. Same shape, but different artwork.
