I refuse to be ignored.

Last week I retold the story of a Fixie Famous® kid named Jason getting smoked by Geno at a PDW Circulus event in Las Vegas, to which Eric, Captain of the PDW ship responded via email;

Damn, just read your mention of that Jason kid in the latest AHTBM post. What a weird world. I still remember him making some excuse for Gene beating him and Gene was like “Wanna go again?” and the kid was like “Nah.” Hit by a damn train. Wild, man.

I distinctly remember another particular Fixie Famous® guy getting on to race one of his clown buddies after the main event. Immediately I turned the mic off and everyone just walked away, which all these years later still makes me smile.

Moving on to other wheeled activities, a few days ago Kona Joey texted me and said that he and a few of his pals were gearing up for the season’s first nerd off in which we all meet up at a local tide break and drive some tiny trucks.

Funny thing is that straight from the jump, shocks were falling off, wheels were falling off, small parts were going missing, and for the first fifteen minutes or so we were all scrambling to tune up our little trucks which we all swore worked last time they were out;

Beers were drank, lies were told, laughs were had, and it was all great fun.

And just so one doesn’t think of this as being a purely dudecentric type of activity, I even mentioned it to a real, live woman who not only expressed interest in the notion, but actually texted me trucks she wanted to buy at 3:00 in the morning, and came and met me at the local rock spot to play for a couple of hours;

If you yourself have also been buried under the blanket of winter, I encourage you to round up your gaggle of dorks and get out for a rally.

It’s as peaceful and wholesome an activity as I can suggest.

I feel compelled at this juncture to mention as I type these words I’m rocketing south on the 5 en route to seeing the mighty ‘68 live and in person;

In my excitement, I forgot twice on Monday to finish writing today’s effort, so as always you get what you get and you can’t throw a fit.

Anyway, now as I do with some degree of frequency, I’d like to present the brand newest episode of Revolting;

If I remember correctly, we maybe discussed some things that could be ignored, but not that you’d necessarily want to.

Spread this like it's sick

      They’re also real great, and nice fellas to boot. It’s my pleasure. I’m glad some of the picks have brought you joy.
