Here we are once again staring down the gaping maw of yet another week, so let’s get after it.
Kicking things off straight out of the gate, I would like to turn your attention to a ‘maker’s market’ (or something…. I’m not really sure what it’s called) that I’m going to be taking part in this coming Thursday at Structures Brewing Old Town location;
Besides AHTBM, other vendors who will be present will be Donkelope, Alley Cat Bikes, Loam Equipment, Hessian Wheelworks, High Above, Shred Witches, Ritual Records, The Hub Bike shop, Raising Wolvez, Boardwalks Tech Shop, Trailboss, and Antler Baking Company.
On hand I’ll have books, decks (signed or not), stickers, bandanas, socks, records, wristbands, hats, the remaining gloves, T-shirts, and hoodies, all of which will be priced normally, but because I’m about one month away from living on the street, I’m flexible.
If any potential customers don’t show up, we will all just sit around and stare at each other, so if you get a wild hair, and it’s not too much of a commute, swing through and say hi.
Now then, due to the fact that I’m back on a construction site for the next few weeks, I don’t have a whole lotta fodder to dish out. I will say that breaking concrete last week was 1000% harder than it was a year ago;
I am no longer built for this kind of work, at all.
Thankfully I have a team who can put me back together again.
So hey, here’s a fun little bit of throwback…
Remember that old company JIMMY’Z?
Probably not, but maybe… Recently I was sort of nostalgically thinking about their dumb beret/chef hats, and that I would maybe like to find one for no good reason’s sake, since the one I had in the late ’80s was lost to the sands of time, and most specifically, I think behind a dryer at a party.
Well, during a recent internet search, what did I come across but this;
Jimmy’z is a thing again?
God, I hope so.
Finally, before I make my way back to putting the ‘man’ in ‘manual labor’ are you ready for the brand new episode of Revolting?
Well you’d better suck it up because like Tuesday, it’s here whether you want it or not.
